This seminar (level B2 - C1) examines the techniques of effective discussion. Participants will explore rhetorical strategies, argument structures and they'll expand their listening skills. Also they'll learn to balance assertiveness with empathy in discussion. And furthermore they'll develop the ability how to engage respectfully, think critically and articulate positions clearly.

What does it need to come across clearly in a discussion? In this dynamic seminar you'll explore how to master constructive dialogue: listen, argue and collaborate effectively.

Learn how to discuss ideas constructively, respectfully and persuasively.

You'll gain confidence in articulating positions and evaluating opposing views - and most of all: you'll broaden your professional communication immensly!

• When you register as a mandatory participant, please note that attending the training is part of your official duties and an unexcused absence is a violation of your official responsibilities. Any further education undertaken during your working hours is subject to the prior approval of your manager.

• Fee: 250,00 €. Free for employees of CAU and PhD students who are registered within the Graduiertenzentrum.
