Content:

The idea behind “Show your Science” is an abc of presentation: How to be audience-friendly, brief and convincing. You will learn to give an entertaining, short talk on your subject of research, pitched to a non-scientific audience.

The way to reach your audience’s hearts and minds is to tell your story: Explain what you do, how you do it and above all, why it fascinates you - and should interest us.

In the workshop we will explore language and rhetorical techniques, story-telling and audience involvement, body language and voice – and whatever else you need to find your unique style as a presenter.

After completing the course you may even join Kiel University’s Science Show and practise your presentation skills by giving your talk to a much wider audience

If you would like to get an insight into the Science Show, we highly recommend watching our image film.

Die Teilnahme an dieser Veranstaltung kann für das Zertifikat „Wissenschaftskommunikation“ angerechnet werden. Nehmen Sie gerne Kontakt mit Mirco Bergerhof auf, wenn Sie interessiert sind.
