This one-day seminar focuses on practical coaching tools designed specifically for use in the university context. Participants will learn selected techniques such as active listening, questioning methods, goal clarification, and perspective shifting, applying them directly to their own professional challenges.

Whether in teaching, office hours, teamwork, or leadership situations, the tools presented in this seminar help structure conversations more effectively and foster solution-oriented collaboration. The seminar is practical and interactive, enabling participants to integrate the techniques into their professional routines immediately.

Learning targets:

At the end of the workshop the participants are able to ...

• apply the learned and practiced coaching tools in practice.
• integrate the coaching tools into their (professional) everyday life.

• When you register as a mandatory participant, please note that attending the training is part of your official duties and an unexcused absence is a violation of your official responsibilities. Any further education undertaken during your working hours is subject to the prior approval of your manager.

• Fee: 250,00 €. Free for employees of CAU and PhD students who are registered within the Graduiertenzentrum.
