Kursbeschreibung

This R course for scientists introduces the complete workflow of evaluating empirical data with R. We start with the basics in the programming language R and practise code scripting. The complete data analysis is created in scripts - from loading the data to outputting tables and figures for a publication.

Contents: R functions, scripts, help functions, data import, data preparation, descriptive statistics, inferential statistics (simple variance analyses and regressions), figures, output of results.

This course in R will be held in english. Basic knowledge in statistics is required.

Learning Objectives

• Getting started with R from knowledge level 0.
• (statistical basics are required).
• Complete an analysis cycle in R.
• Ability to continue working independently with R.
