Kursbeschreibung
Agile project management and agility refer to a different way of thinking (not only) in project management. Agile approaches, tools and techniques are characterized by short development cycles, frequent feedback and a high-quality idea. This form of project management and the tools and techniques are suitable in many areas of science and research.
The contents of the seminar are:
- Overview of Agile Project Management and differences to classic project management
- Agile Mindset
- Agile Tools and Techniques
- Agile Team
Learning targets:
At the end of the workshop the participants...
- know what Agile Project Management is.
- can apply important tools and techniques of Agile Project Management.
- know what an Agile Mindset is.
- reflect on the extent to which agile working makes sense for their work context and also for their own personality.
Target group:
The workshop is aimed at all staff in academia and research who are curious, open-minded, and motivated to explore a different approach to project management. No prior experience is required.
Organisational details:
- When you register as a mandatory participant, please note that attending the training is part of your official duties and an unexcused absence is a violation of your official responsibilities. Any further education undertaken during your working hours is subject to the prior approval of your manager.

- Fee: 320,00 €. Free for employees of CAU and PhD students who are registered within the Graduiertenzentrum.
- Cancellation and No-Show for Paid Participation
Registration may be canceled free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the training course, unless otherwise expressly agreed. The date and time the cancellation is received by the training provider shall be decisive.
If cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before the start of the training, the full participation fee is due. This also applies if the participant fails to attend the training without prior cancellation.
The participant reserves the right to prove that the actual loss was less.
