Kursbeschreibung
The training is tailored to enhance the effectiveness and innovative power of group leaders, professors, and informal leaders guiding diverse interdisciplinary research teams. It focuses on navigating complex group dynamics, encouraging self-awareness during lengthy and complicated team meetings, resolving misunderstandings, and managing (subtle) conflicts with a keen eye on introspection and the development of a learning-oriented mindset.Establishing psychological safety is key to promoting team cohesion and fostering innovation. The program draws on Amy Edmonson's concept of psychological safety, integrating neuro-leadership, positive psychology, and embodiment techniques. Designed to boost self-leadership and awareness, these methods enable leaders of all types-official and informal-to conduct constructive debates, build trust, enhance team engagement, and manage the complexities of diverse academic perspectives effectively. Participants can expect a highly interactive and transformative experience that moves beyond typical academic training. Small group interactions and exchange allow for significant peer learning effects. The training delivers effective trust-building tools, techniques for recognizing and addressing cognitive biases, and strategies for fostering open discussions and a collaborative team culture.
Learning targets:

- Cultivate trust—key components for nurturing a supportive and innovative research environment.
- High levels of psychological safety to create a thriving, collaborative learning atmosphere.
