Kursbeschreibung

The course highlights career opportunities outside academia and addresses questions such as how to find and pursue them. Requirements and chances of success are presented and discussed. Participants can contribute their individual starting points, wishes, and strengths and are given space for personal questions.

Learning targets:

Participants will learn about ...

• the diversity of career paths outside academia.
• where and how to find jobs that suit them individually.
• the relevance of their own skills and achievements for employers,
• basic tips on starting job applications.

Target group:

Postdoctoral and doctoral researchers from all disciplines

Organisational details:

• When you register as a mandatory participant, please note that attending the training is part of your official duties and an unexcused absence is a violation of your official responsibilities. Any further education undertaken during your working hours is subject to the prior approval of your manager.

• Fee: 250,00 €. Free for employees of CAU and PhD students who are registered within the Graduiertenzentrum.
• Deadline for registration: 11 days before the date of the course
